HOME OF THE LIONS
🎃 **October is packed with fun at Liberty Elementary!** 👻💜💛
Be sure to save our October PTO calendar so you don’t miss anything! This month we have **Trunk or Treat donations, our PTO meeting, Trunk or Treat, Boo Grams, and the start of Kringle sales!** 🍬🎁
🍎 **And remember — EVERY MINUTE MATTERS!**
Attendance is so important. Being at school **every day and on time** helps our Lions learn, grow, and stay connected with their classmates.
👀 **You never know when there might be a surprise waiting at school!** Students may randomly receive a **special little something just for showing up and being ready to learn!** 🎉🦁
So set those alarms ⏰, get to school on time, and let’s make October a great month!
💜💛 **Same School • Brighter Tomorrows • Stronger Together**
**GO LIONS! 🦁

🎃 Our second graders are showing off their creativity with their decorated pumpkins! I LOVE this time of year and seeing the ideas they bring to life. Check out some of their creations! 🧡
Dear Liberty Families,
Tomorrow is our Pokémon raffle drawing! We will randomly draw 14 names to win Pokémon items donated to Principal Sylvester’s Garage Sale. These items were set aside for a raffle so more students could have an opportunity to participate.
Whether students entered one Lion Paw or 50 Lion Paws, they have a chance to win—but not everyone’s name will be drawn.
Please talk with your child tonight about handling disappointment if their name is not selected. It is okay to feel disappointed, and we encourage students to celebrate with others who win. We will have more opportunities throughout the year as donations come in!
Thank you for helping us reinforce kindness and good sportsmanship! 💛

🎃 Tomorrow is our LIBERTY HALLOWEEN PARADE! 👻
Please send your student to school in their costume, and review our school costume guidelines beforehand to make sure it meets expectations.
Our parade is for Liberty students, teachers, and staff only. Parents and other visitors may not attend. Approximately 50 of our families have requested that their children not appear on social media, and we cannot monitor photos or videos taken and shared by visitors. Thank you for helping us respect our families’ privacy.
Our annual Trunk or Treat provides an opportunity for families to join in the Halloween festivities together! 🍬
If your child does not celebrate Halloween, please let their teacher know your wishes so we can arrange an alternative activity. We want every student to feel included and attend school—every minute matters! 💛

🌟 Congratulations to our October Students of the Month for showing KINDNESS! These Liberty students lead by example—being the kind kid, standing up for others, and choosing to be upstanders. We are proud of you! 💛
